Unity & Forgiveness

Unity & Forgiveness!

I have gone through life with so much confidence and i do not know how, but i know it is owing to the fact that my redeemer liveth. He lives in me and I believe know he lives in you too.

Lives circumstances can be a lot difficult. So we begin to push and push for success. Often times we are faced with betrayals and disappointments from our colleagues, friends and family.  People look at us and they begin to wonder what we are doing about it.  What is our reaction to the sting?

Many will ask me for instance saying;

Anyaku why are you still fellowshipping/interacting with them?

Anyaku are you not angry really with everything they have done to you?

Anyaku what’s wrong with you?

Are you kidding me Anyaku, can’t you see what I see, why are you not offended?

Anyaku do you really know who you are?

Anyaku, you do not deserve this or that?

In response Anyaku will seldom say, “Yes I can be hurt and be in pain but when I wake up to a new dawn, I wake up even more in the inside and within me is made anew, and I become a new being so any person is forgiven and every hurt is vanished for love to prevail”

I can be broken but I don’t feel anything.  I am not hurt by any degree of disappointment of any thing or person or place  because Christ in me is the hope of Glory.

Look at what happened to Jesus, even him was despised and wounded, yet he Resurrected.

Now this questions applies to you too brethren for we are Gods Children. Why are we living in unforgiveness & stagnation?

Oh Lord have mercy!!

Why be so unforgiving?

…but Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?

Jesus says not up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.

Waoh, how so sweet of you Jesus that we are blessed with the spirit of forgiveness…

Illustrating this, Jesus teaches on the parable; therefore the kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants, one account owed him ten thousand talents.  But the servant owing was not able to pay.

The master commanded that he be sold, with his wife and children and all that he had, and that payment be made.

Oh, the servant fell down before his master, saying, Master have patience with me, and I will  pay you all.

Oh Lord Jesus!

The master was then moved with compassion, released him, & forgave him the debt.

But guess what, the same servant was owed by another fellow servant, and when the servant could not pay up his debt, this servant laid hands on him and took him by the throat saying, paying me what you owe!

His fellow servant fell down at his feet and begged him to have patience with him, that he will pay all.

This servant would not forgive his fellow servant, he went & threw him into prison till he should pay the debt.

This got to the ears of his master, he called on his servants saying, You wicked Servant! I forgave you all that debt because you begged me.  Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you?

His master was angry and delivered him to the torturers until he should pay all that was due to him.

Jesus remarks, So My heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother his trespasses.

Remember Forgiveness breeds Unity, if you forgive and don’t be in unity, you are still yet to forgive.

Do not live in Pride or be ashamed of acting in accordance to the word of God.

Remember also that it was by Gods word everything in heaven & on earth was formed.

Thank you so much for reading.

Thank you Lord God Almighty.
