According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:2 Peter 1: 3
It is time to sweep and brush away everything else that is not of God in our lives and embrace more of God.
The heart of an ordinary man cries out to God when in need. The only one that says a thing and does it is my friend. I know He is your friend also. Call His name. He is Jesus Christ, our personal Lord and Saviour. Our comforter. When we cry out to him, he is ever willing and ready to take care of us. Cast all your anxiety on Him because he cares for you. (I Peter 5:7), no one else will do beloved.
Few years ago I was involved in a terrible accident with my best friend. He was a student doctor. I was unconscious for ten hours beyong the control of man. I mean, even the doctors could not make me conscious. My friend did resuscitate me before bring me to the hospital.
That was the best he could do to save me. God saved Him, so he can save me. but the one who saved me first was God Himself. As we drove, I recall requesting my friend to slow down. I reminded of the dream I had two nights ago.
Do you want to know what the dream was?
Everything that happened in reality was my dream few hours ago. the only difference was that my friend, a student Lawyer was with me, and in the dream I didn’t quite know what happened to her. I only saw my own friend saving me …
In reality, we were driving and it was so fast…I could not control the speed. i was not the one driving, he was, and he promised He was in control. Until today, it was God who called my name and I answered. we had an accident. Few seconds before the car somersaulted; and before I got unconscious, I HEARD A VOICE OF THE LORD like my Dads, screaming my name in a rhythm. Anyaku Anyaku, and I answered Yes Daddy.
It was God standing right in front of us. He saved us, making today a victory for us anywhere we are. Therefore, No one else will do. God is everything we need.
Lord Jesus, I am aware of your saving Grace…
